Jade Palm Shores is a small editorial site devoted to describing hospitality properties in Canada. It exists so a reader can move through several addresses with the same lens — setting, character, dining context and surroundings — without stepping into a booking flow.
It is not a travel agency, not a reservation desk and not a marketplace. Nothing on these pages offers a room, holds a date or implies that a stay can be arranged here. When you want practical detail, you leave for the property’s own official listing.
Discovery, in this sense, means orientation. The catalogs group properties by how they sit in a landscape — urban fabric, fully equipped destinations, or water at the edge — so the first choice is about place rather than packaging.
If you arrived expecting a search widget or a calendar, that absence is intentional. The guide stops at description and sends you onward with a single outbound link per entry.

Jade Palm Shores is published as an independent guide. It does not own, manage or operate any of the properties named in its catalogs, and it holds no commercial agreement with them for placement or promotion.
Independence here is practical as well as ethical. Because the site takes no reservations, it has no inventory to protect and no pressure to rank one address above another. Entries share a structure so comparison stays fair.
Names, marks and photographs appear only to identify and illustrate the places being described. They remain the property of their respective owners. Affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship is neither claimed nor implied.
Questions about the guide itself — wording, corrections, or how an entry is framed — can be sent through Contact Us. Questions about a stay belong with the property or its listing platform.
What We Present — descriptive overviews of accommodation, amenities and surroundings, in a consistent structure
Each entry follows the same pattern: a photograph, the property name exactly as supplied, its city and province, a short description built from category, star class and setting, and a link labelled “Visit Official Website”.
The description stays within what the guide is given — whether a stay is a city hotel or a countryside resort, whether water or mountains shape the outlook, and how the address sits in its region. It does not invent restaurant names, room counts, awards or renovation timelines.
Surroundings matter as much as interiors. An urban entry leans on what is within walking distance of the door; a premier entry notes that dining, wellness and gathering space sit beside the rooms; a water entry lets the shoreline carry the reading.
What you will not find here are prices, availability widgets or guest testimonials about named properties. Those belong elsewhere. This site’s only task is a clear, consistent overview.
Our Approach — clarity, structure and transparency, and why the site sends readers to official listing pages for details
Clarity means saying what the guide is and what it is not, in the same voice on every page. Structure means catalogs that group by setting rather than by marketing language. Transparency means the independence notice appears in the footer of every page and once more in the homepage hero.
Sending readers to official listing pages is part of that honesty. Those pages hold the current detail — policies, floor plans, dining hours, and whatever a traveller needs before committing to a stay. Jade Palm Shores does not try to mirror them.
Outbound links leave this domain only from a venue card, and only to the listing URL supplied for that venue. Every other link stays inside the site or opens a mail client to the contact address.
